Halloween 2009

The kids had so much fun this year for Halloween!!
Bryleigh was an LSU Cheerleader and Joel was a Mummy/Pirate. I made his mummy costume and there were so many strips that he eventually started to unravel!! So we had to go get an emergency costume which is when he became a pirate! Of course he was cute no matter what! :)

In the world not of the world

Its our job as Christians to be the light in this dark world.
Sometimes its so very hard to keep that perspective in life.
Our spiritual life isn't just for Sundays.

But be doers of the word and not hearer's only, deceiving yourselves. Because if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, is is like a man looking at his own face in the mirror, for he looks at himself, goes away and right after forgets what kind of man he was. But the one who looks intently into the perfect law of freedom and perseveres in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer who acts- this person will be blessed in what he does.

James 1:22-25

No anger!

This is all so hard to do(trust me I know), but if ALL your faith is in Him then you can do this!!
But keep in your heart that we are going to be "in" the world obviously but don't be "of" the world! Be different!! Be a light!!!

Happy Birthday Bryleigh!!!

Bryleigh is 3 years old today!!!!
I can't even believe it, where as the time gone!!!?!?!

Seems like just yesterday I was at the hospital waiting for her to make her grand entrance!!!
Then at around 6:30 that evening she was here!!!!
Weighing in at 8lbs even.

I have enjoyed every minute with her and can't wait for so many more years to enjoy with her!!
She is so smart and so energetic and so caring! She has her moments but don't we all?!?!

I love you Bryleigh!
